I definitely think you should make the jello salad. People who think that mayonnaise is a salad staple should be introduced to the variety the world has to offer. And it'll allow them to trade all that fat for some sugar, just for a change.
As far as the house, that is an enternal, ongoing quest. I will try to keep you updated, if and when progress occurs. They've only been looking at houses for ten years, after all. I don't want to rush them...
