The trip was a lot of fun, but there were a few challenges. The weather was frequently cold and rainy, and I had a bad cold. The two of these together meant that the worst day was the Wednesday of the trip, when we had to cover 64km (40 miles) on our bikes, while it rained continuously and I coughed and thought longingly of my bed. I had an electric bike, and on this day I used the motor a lot. When my friends stopped to climb a mountain and view ruins at the top of it, we first found a park shelter without walls where I could sleep on a wooden table during their hike. The next day, I slept in a field while they climbed a different mountain. My father has the ability to sleep in any situation or location, and now I have learned that I have the same ability, as long as I´m sick enough.

Oh, no!!! I’m so impressed that you didn’t just turn around and go home when you got sick!
This is from Ellie, btw
You look like you were dead not sleeping! Did Sandia Outfitters arrange this trip?
OMG you poor thing! What a testimony to your outlook on life that you barely mentioned that when we talked. The pictures are ADORABLE
